It is amazing the places my kites take me to. But not even in my wildest of dreams did I ever consider being able to experience the wonders of New Mexico with kite bag in hand. Thanks to the generosity of Jim Long, John and Mary Gabby, and my tour guide, Mike Shaw, that is exactly what I was able to do. I'll never forget the incredible pueblo images, the jewelry, the pottery, the desert, and the friendships that made it all so very, very special.
