Double Arch

Delicate Arch. WOW. Well worth the 1.5 mile climb to the top.

Yep, that is me standing there.

I was really really nervous making the walk to the arch and once there I didn't want to leave.

The wind was really blowing up here and I left my kite in the car...drat.

Delicate Arch truly captured my heart.

Entering the Fiery Furnace. Visitors need to sign a waiver before entering promising they won't get lost.

This was a tough hike for me...a good reason to get in better shape before tackling the Fiery Furnace again.

Pictoglyphs near Delicate Arch.

Not bad for a prairie girl that NEVER does rock climbing.

I envied the places that an experienced climber could go.

Trying to find the way in.

Contemplating options...sorry, don't think I can go there.

A man in his element.

The Furnace made me a little nervous so I tried to keep the way out in my line of sight.

Yep, I'm a chicken at heart...but it was a pretty vista from here.

An example of red rock from the Devil's Garden.

Garden of Eden in low sun.

The sky stayed brilliant thalo all day long.

Truly beautiful.

Arches, I will see you again...I promise.
