The Southern Oregon Kite Festival, held in Brookings, Oregon, will forever have a special place in my heart. It is the first festival that I was able to attend as an invited guest. The format of the festival is unique, more like a kite circus, with everyone getting their few minutes center stage. To have the chance to look at a sky filled with nothing but kites that I had made was a memorable moment. I'll never forget that feeling. Thanks, Brookings!
