Lighthouse Kite Fly 2005

After what felt like a wonderful relationship with the management and directorship of the Point Arena Lighthouse and many professional kitefliers donating their time to promote the lighthouse over the last couple of years, it was a surprise when the festival did not happen in 2005. It is our hope that a way can be found to bring kites back to the lighthouse sometime in the next year. I traveled down Highway 101 and Highway 1 from Lincoln City among the big trees and had to stop at the lighthouse to say hello. I was surprised to see my lighthouse kite still hanging from the rafters of the lighthouse museum. Maybe that karma will draw us all back there someday. I hope so.
