Lincoln City, Oregon
Sea Gypsy Motel
"Deb's home away from home"

A stop at the Sea Gypsy in Lincoln City several years ago brought kites into my life. Over time, the location has become my summer Mecca and a retreat for my heart and soul. 2003 was no different and I was able to squeeze six days out of my wonderful west coast flying season to bask in the Oregon sunshine, walk the beautiful beach, find agates and seashells, and loose a little money at Chinook Winds. Oh, and I flew some kites as well. To David, Cindy, Ken, and Chris...it was great seeing you. Thank you for making me feel so at home.

The view from my motel window...the ocean serenaded me all night long.

Pyro twins ghosting in the ocean fog

David and Lucas Willis, "Two Peas in a Pod"

Added the star to the sky when the fog lifted...sweet wind

Lucas helped color the sky by flying the dragon

When the wind came up the hexes and Whitebird dragon took over the sky

My mentor and friend..."Thanks for flying with me for a couple of days"

Kids and sand...a match made in heaven

Good to rest and rehydrate while flying

Fog bank threatens

It was fun to watch David fly the midi again...he is so good!

My new dragon flying outside the motel window

ZenII and the Sea Gypsy...another match made in heaven

Beautiful Pacific ocean sunset

One of those perfect days when everything went up and stuck there all day long

"A Deb Sky"...not bad work for a couple of years of sewing

A dream flying day I'll never forget

Chris joined me on the beach to fly my Gemini

Adios Lincoln City...hope to see you next year

Chris launched a brand new 90 as my going away present...thanks my friend
