Seems like there will always be stories surrounding the "Road to Brookings". This year included a 6:30 am flight out of San Francisco which meant being up and at em at 2:30 am. Both Brian and I asked more than once who we must have made angry to have had such an ungodly early flight with plane changes in Sacramento and Eureka. But the plane finally landed in Crescent City and we were graciously met by Ron and Sandy Gibian, treated to a fine breakfast and juicy conversation, and then drove to Brookings for an exceptionally fine weekend. I want to thank the Port Authority for being such great hosts for this event. I hope it will continue and I hope I will again be included on the guest list. SOFK is the best!!!! Thanks bunches Nita!!!

Being at the airport before it even opens requires special seating.

The fliers picnic at the RV park was fantastic. Thanks Roger.

The picnic was a great venue to get reacquainted.

My two favorite guys.

Brian's Dot. Cool flier.

The charm of Brookings is the great cast of characters that are brought together.
